Freshman Year Survival Kit

You did it! You made it to your freshman year of college! For some it may seem like the scariest thing in the world, (and let me tell you, it isn’t that bad). But for most it is the beginning of the best years of your life! However you feel, don’t fret because I am here to give you the ultimate freshman year survival kit, as well as some tips and tricks to get you through all of the exciting (and not so exciting) times of your first year!

Eye mask- you may or may not have the same sleep schedule as your roommate, so this could be the most crucial item on this list when they are staying up all hours of the night writing a paper with the lights on.

Coffee maker- (& cute travel mugs) when you just can’t make it in time to run to the coffee spot before class, you can make your own any time and take it anywhere. (Also helps to save you money).

Quality bedding- don’t cheap out on your bedding, get a good quality comforter and duvet so you can switch it up if you get sick of it year after year. (Also get a comfy mattress cover or topper). (I love the duvet covers from Urban Outfitters).

Planner or Agenda- to organize your days and make sure you know where to be and what to have with you. (so you don’t just rely on your Google calendar). The Ban.do agendas are super cute!
